The past six months or so have brought many challenges and changes my way. I officially declared that I was in what I like to call my “quarter-life career crisis”, came to grips with loosing family members and learned how to use that little word “no” a bit more. Through everything I’ve had many realizations, both big and small, that I’m truly grateful for. No matter how many wrong turns you feel like your making, own every single one of them and stand behind your decision. You’ll end up learning a lot more about yourself that way. And to all the people who have continuously asked me where my blog posts were, thank you. I’m so blessed to have such supportive people who inspire and drive me.
Now I’d like to make a toast…so please join me and raise a glass – even if it’s an invisible one!
“Here’s to being back, having a “layered” career path, learning from those we’ve lost and knowing that saying “no” doesn’t make you a bad person! Cheers!”
